Dive into the prehistoric coral laden ruins of Sassa'Shoom. Equipped with a hook to prod and stabilize, you must navigate the sweeping currents of the underwater realm. Ancient gold, pearls, and other treasures await.
Controller and Keyboard are both supported in mimicking a traditional Gameboy control scheme:
- D-Pad/WASD/Arrows : Swim
- A Button/Space/Z/C/J/L : Hook
- B Button/X/K : Hook
- Start/Esc : Pause
- Select/Shift : Adjust Music Volume

Never played a puzzle diver game before, the idea itself is neat has has some cool usage of environmental.
The game found itself a really amazing visual style, which would be a full 5 stars but the font sadly is a bit unreadable, I think this could a good “lesson” in sometimes function over form. That is the only bad thing I can say about the game though!
SFX and mx were lovely, it did start too loud, but thankfully we have a volume setting so that be solved quickly.
The theme is implemented well, cool game, well done!
The current and the hook are very clever gameplay mechanics, although I was stuck for a while not realising you could also hook onto the spiky plants. The vibes are immaculate and the font unreadable :P Lovely game! Keep it up.
haha, I do love the font, but I definitely push its legibility XD
Thanks for checking out the game and the feedback!
Very beautiful game! Very unique style as well. I love all the small details in there, including the corpses you leave behind :D
One question - was there a puzzle where you have to die intentionally, or was I just missing the solution?
Thanks for the comments :D
There was no puzzle involving intentional dying. (Up to a recent build, there was however a way to cheat by dying!). I am curious, which section were you thinking death was the answer?
There was a section with 3 coins on the left. There was a one-way in with a stream, which I don't think changed direction? I couldn't found any other way out so I just death reset.
Third level? If it's what I think it was, the exit from the room is through a spongey breakable rock (it's a big bigger in size than earlier ones, so might not be as recognizable). Glad you got past it though!
I know which section it is now. The solution was to grab the moving block. It's just a little long between when it leaves and come back :/
